I looooove the casino scene at the end of S5, and E/L played it *so* perfectly. That little bit of interplay between Jack and Blair, coming together for Chuck, and Chuck’s face. He doesn’t say ANYTHING but then, he didn’t need to. Blair looks stunning and again, on her face, you see her determination- I’m here, I’m not leaving you, we’re going to do this *together*, you and me, Chuck and Blair, Blair and Chuck, like it’s suppose to be.

But   ;_;

The writers ruined it. Having to see photo and gif sets of the casino scene on my dash over and over again, while making me deliriously happy has also triggered, sadly, my hyper-analytical dork.

“You said I always bet against you,” turns and gazes at him, “but this time, I’m all in.”

Um…

Initially you think, “Omg, yaaaay! She’s all in, she’s all in!!!” But… can we can deconstruct that sentence for a second? She’s all in… betting… against him.  0_0

Thanks for that, GGWriters. Given her actions and the mood, I don’t think that’s what you meant in the least. This line isn’t the setup for how she’s going to help Chuck scheme his way back in or something by ‘betting against him’. I sadly have way more faith in the idea that you messed up the last line of the season than you being cunning like this  -_-  Ugh :annoyed:
