Love You Some Day | Chapter 2 “Falling Towards Grace” by MegamiTenchi
To quote Blair… Ley, I love you more and more everyday, if it’s possible to love someone that much <3
“B!” Serena squealed as she approached, “Enjoying yourself?”
“I was, until Chuck Bass started talking to me.” Blair cringed.
“Ew, I’m sorry.” Serena patted Blair on the shoulder.
“I wish he wasn’t so rich, he doesn’t belong in this circle!” Blair huffed.
His reputation most certainly preceded him. Everyone knew of the parties Chuck Bass hosted, though Blair had never been to one- debauchery, drunkenness, and purely scandalizing behavior. She could not even fathom how he attended the same school as her and her friends. He surely did not care for rules and Blair found it a stretch to imagine he was any sort of an academic.
Serena peeked around her friend to glance at the man in question as he eyed up the female population. Blair’s gaze followed her friends: white linen trousers, a perfect pink dress shirt, sleeves rolled to the elbow, his paisley pink silk cravat tucked into the neck line of the shirt- and that was simply what he was wearing- not to mention how he looked in the clothes.
“I suppose… but he is stunning to look at, black sheep or no.” Serena shook her blonde head a little smiling.
“Ew! No, he’s lazy, wasteful, and so… so… abhorrent.”
“My, aren’t we being polite.” Serena chuckled, “I’d say that is why we need him in this circle; he keeps it interesting.”
“I like my interesting in books, or art, not a roller coaster of emotions in my personal life.” Blair retorted.
“This from the girl who’s read Pride and Prejudice how many times? You’d fall for a Darcy, not a Bingley, as much as you like to think otherwise. You’re too smart to fall for sweet and boring. You’ll have someone who is devastatingly handsome, witty, and makes your blood boil because he gets you.” Serena challenged, “He will see right… through… you.” She poked her friend.
“I reject your character analysis on the basis of experience. That is pure conjecture!” Blair snapped, “As if we are fully formed at age fifteen.”
“Well, as long as we don’t turn into our mothers, I think I will be happy.” Serena and Blair walked arm and arm, Blair raising her head a little bit higher as they walked past Chuck Bass.

Love You Some Day, Chapter 21: The Unforgettable Fire, Part Two
Runtime approximately 26 minutes
*Mature Content*
My voice, my editing, do I get a brownie now? I had to not only read that, but listen to it as well!
In an attempt to escape real life stressors, I made a Facebook page.
It’s kind of pretty… in part, because I put artwork up for a new story -_^
But I feel like this is kind of a new crazy thing to do for an FF writer and am not sure how to pull you, dear readers and follows along?
I thought… what can I offer as an incentive? I am working on a new story, but it’s still pretty raw. However… I do have 1,600 words from Love You Some Day that were never included in the story. 1,600 fluffy, smutty words.
So, if I can reach Facebook’s requisite ”You must have 30 followers to be a real Facebook Page”, I’ll post the unpublished scene in the notes section of my Facebook page.
If that is well exceeded in the next week, (I think 50 ‘likes’ would be lovely!) I will also post a little bit of the opening to my next story. But, if I am being silly… well, I have the lost scene, and only two other people have ever read it ^_^
As always, thanks for reading! And hopefully see you on Facebook! xoxo
Love you Some Day, chapter 21: The Unforgettable Fire
A touch of rated R action in this first clip. Endless hugs and kissing to dear Emy (@GGbassWaldorf), who, aside from a.) helping me write Paris and understand the French school system for this story, b.) taking some wonderful footage of the area around Henri IV (see my YouTube channel), has now c.) recorded some of the dialogue for this portion of the story! My French/French accent is miserable, and I’m horrified to offend francophones with my poor attempts. Thank you, Emy for saving me! xoxo -K
Love You Some Day, Chapter Fifteen: Never be the Same. Morning after to end scene.
I wish I was either rich enough or famous enough to have…
1.) Someone make the robe Blair wears at the end of chapter nine of Touch!
2.) Make the globe Chuck gives Blair for Christmas in Love You Some Day, down to the smallest detail.
The curse of being perhaps *too* imaginative :P But at least I get to write it!?
Love You Some Day, Chapter 4: Let the Games Begin. Part 2
Love You Some Day, Chapter 4: Let the Games Begin. Part 1.
End of chapter eighteen of Love You Someday (after bridge scene to end).
I just completed the formatting of Love You Some Day into .epub and .mobi for e-reader platforms. I do not currently have a means of hosting the file, but if you are keen on having a copy, message me privately (in the many ways possible: here, Twitter DM, Fanfiction.net PM, GossipGirlsss.com forum…) with your e-mail? Let me know what format you need as well. The .epub I created for my iPhone is about 600KB.
LYSD!CB kept harassing me in my dreams last night. I’m not sure what exactly it will become in the end, but I thought a few people my like to see that something is stewing, even while I write the holiday story! Scene? The *next* summer in the Hamptons.
“Chuck…” Now her lower lip curled into a sad little frown, “I haven’t seen you all afternoon.”
“And you missed me?” He feigned surprise, “All that shopping with Serena, and you still missed me? But, what are men compared to Cartier and Dolce and Gabbana?”
“Nothing. When you speak of most men. But…” Blair lifted her hand to graze his cheek, her fingers playing along the line of his jaw, “compared to you? I always know where my heart lay.”
Now he kissed her. And she kissed him back. With all the love and passion she had built up in an afternoon in his absence. So that they made it back into the house for dinner and not rolling around in the grass was a testament to the self-control they had somehow built in the past year.
My editor, the beloved Georgia pointed out I never really posted a list of the songs that are used in Love You Some Day.
Works of art mentioned:
Kenneth Branagh’s film adaptations of Much Ado About Nothing (1993) and Hamlet (1996)
The films Funny Face (1957) and The Sound of Music (1965)
Hayley Westenra singing ‘Never Say Goodbye’ (from Pure), ‘Ave Maria’ and ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’ (from Odessey)
Sarah McLachlan’s Last Dance (from the album Surfacing)
Lee Ann Rhimes singing ‘Right Kind of Wrong’ (Coyote Ugly Soundtrack)
Natalie Cole singing Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye (De-Lovely Soundtrack)
Elvis Costello singing ‘Let’s Misbehave’ (De-Lovely Soundtrack)
Doris Day singing ‘Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps’ (Strictly Ballroom Soundtrack)
The song ‘He Loves and She Loves’ from Funny Face*
From Puccini’s opera Turandot, ‘Nessun Dorma’
*Since the scene where ‘He Loves and She Loves’ is a dancing scene, the composition I imagined in my head was a mix of the vocal version performed by Julie Andrews and a ballroom adaptation.
The delightful and talented MaggiMarcus completed the production copy cover art for Love You Some Day! So if you fancy printing out fanfictions, now you have a proper cover for LYSD ^_^ Isn’t it just beautiful? Maggi, you did a *wonderful* job- thank you!!
I am *so* angry this weekend, it’s not even funny. I have no idea how I’m going to live with through this weekend at the rate the crap factor continues to escalate.
Rage aside, I picked up my book this morning. I opted for it being printed doubled sided, and LOOK HOW THICK IT STILL IS!!!! 183 pages… and that’s without typesetting, a table of contents, or my extensive author’s notes (to be written). And, awww, the big sentimental fool I am, when I wanted to open it and show you the double-sided print job and the font size ten, I opened it to the end of chapter 14 for you all ^_^
